I ordered a new Hayward pool control box in mid 2022 based on KP technicians advice due to some issues (not cheap but I purchased!). The older control box was 15 yrs so it made sense to replace. New box came with added features, Wi-Fi functions and an app to use remotely verses the wireless hand controller - fabulous! It was fitted and works perfect to this day. Technician did a good timely job once he started and he did return upon a few requests to troubleshoot a couple of items. However, one of the issues was a pool light that stopped working - he figured light was burned out. Ok, a replacement light was ordered and paid for - this was in September 2022 - as of today March 2023 the light has still not arrived even after many (many) false promises, many correspondences, telephone calls, nothing! After 6 months I was clearly getting nowhere (lol), so I contacted my credit card provider, explained the breech of contract, provided copies of emails, payment documents, invoice, receipt etc who launched an investigation but put a hold on the cost of the pool light ($973.17) until investigation concludes. So be careful parting money with KP, they don’t seem to have an office you can visit to speak to anyone (I tried visiting 2 addresses to recover the pool light or reimbursement - 1 was a PO Box at the US Postal Services building, the other was an address that KP used previously but not anymore). Endured many false promises and basically had to repeatedly follow up albeit eventually conceding they will not be deliver nor reimburse the cost - not the customer service one would expect in this v competitive market. Needless to say KP is off my Xmas card list and I won’t be using them again. There are far more pool companies out there who would offer a better service (some worse I’m sure) but in my opinion give this company KP a wide miss - in my experience although started not too bad (I had to chase the replacement control box but they did deliver) they cannot be trusted overall as I got the feeling they are quite happy to take your money up front, but not deliver the goods, and hope you will not bother chasing them for the goods or money back - unfortunately I’m like a dog with a bone so message is with KP “Buyer be aware!”
We had replaced our very old Pool Filter with a brand new Hayward De Filter that we purchased from Kuykendahl Pools, found through marketplace. Heather, Amanda Burns, and Randall Lee and Luis-the service technician, were all very attentive in responding to our messages, and sold us a very good new DE pool filter with all inclusive items included to complete the install and at a very reasonable price, and done very good to our satisfaction, above and beyond, courteous, professional, kind and gave us detailed information, to give us peace in making an online purchase. We will definitely use them again for any of our pool needs that they provide, in the future! Thanks Heather, and all of your staff, and technician for such a great service, product, and experience!
I have used Kuykendahl Pools (Crystal Clear Pools) service for the last 5 years. They are very professional and serviced my pool on a timely manner. My booster pump (Polaris vacuum motor) had a crack and water was shooting out of it. My pool water started to drained and recede. Immediately I contacted Heather and she told me to turn on the power and to text her a picture or a video. She identified the issue and ordered an original Polaris motor for me. I understand it is hard to get the delivery in during this pandemic. Heather kept me up to date every two days to let me know that status of the part. The technician arrived and fix my unit as soon as possible. The payment process was easy. I would recommend Kuykendahl Pools if you need service on your swimming pool.
My experience with Kuykendahl Pools was very pleasant. My representative was Heather. She was nice, patient and responded to my questions promptly. I had my pool waterline tiles and coping replaced. The prices are reasonable. The guys who did the work were also nice to work with. They did a great job and the finished work looked clean and professional.
