We are not from the Houston area, we live about and hour and a half from Houston. After being stuck at home since March we decided to take our kids to the Houston Zoo. My kids were so disappointed in the Zoo that after 2 hours of being there they were ready to leave. While eating lunch at the Zoo I started searching for something else for us to do with the kids. I came across The Children's Museum and reserved tickets online. The process of reserving tickets was very easy. We left the Zoo after eating our lunch and went right down the road. It was disappointing that we had to pay $9 for parking but once we parked we walking inside. They provided mask for each of us, the check in process was really easy. My kids are 7,6,3 and 2 and each one of them found something that they really enjoyed. There were so many options and activities to do. I also loved that there were many educational things to do such as the bank, teaching about savings, checking, payroll, loans, ATMS and so much more. This place is huge and not once were my kids ever bored. I constantly noticed employees cleaning everything and wiping everything down. They only allowed 1 family into each place at a time. It wasn't crowded either. I have been to The Children's Museum in College Station and The Woodlands and I have to say that this Museum was by far the best one we have been to and I will be bringing my kids back before school starts back again!!!

Awesome experience even during this pandemic! Everything was very clean- there were workers in every room maintaining a clean space and social distancing. Thank you Children's Museum of Houston!

Probably the best museum for children and big kids like myself. I enjoyed taking my children here a few years ago.

It was nice to visit this museum! I feel like being a child again. A trip down to memory lane. Very educative place for young generation and it is good for children to visit this place for once in their lifetime.

Absolutely loved this place more than my kids did. So many interesting and educational things to see and play with. The best part of the place is the ‘Kidtropolis’ (a city that replicates what adults do in real life; get to use a fake ATM card to withdraw money, deposit pay cheques and save money. Awesome. Would come again.
